Find the Right Record Office
For township-created agendas, permits, planning material, and public-record requests, contact the Orion Township Clerk or the responsible department. The Township’s public-records office is at 2323 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, MI 48360. The main number is 248-391-0304, and the township lists general hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Its JustFOIA portal accepts electronic requests.
Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds offices hold county land, vital, legal-record, and probate routes. The Register of Deeds Super Index help number is 248-858-0606. For county vital records, use 248-858-0571 or clerkvital@oakgov.com. A record number, address, PIN, case number, or date range will help the custodian locate an existing item.
The research pages may also help: use the street directory for address-keyed records, the directory book for dated collections, or the resident lookup for one-person verification paths.
